Registered Agent
You can easily change your Illinois registered agent online. Illinois has separate online filing portals for LLCs and Corporations. Corporations are charged $77, and LLCs are charged $75. Both fees include an expedite service fee for one-day processing, a service the State is legally required to charge for. You can pay with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. Payment is due at the time of request. If your payment is denied, the filing will not be completed.
Change Your Illinois Registered Agent By Mail
- The LLC Form: Statement of Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office
- The Corporation Form: Statement of Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office
There is a $25 processing fee, which you can pay by check (payable to Secretary of State). When you hire Illinois Registered Office LLC, you will find the correct documents in your online account. Fill it out, sign it and send it to the Illinois Secretary of State along with your filing fee.
Note: Mailed filings must be sent in duplicate.
